A walk to the therapist's office
On Monday I took the bus to see a therapist for our first session. She was very nice and eerily perceptive and I am seeing her again next week.

My first week of school in cameraphone snapshots
Most of these were taken on my phone on the 12 minute walk I take to and from school. I've been listening to quite a lot of Radiolab as well as 99% Invisible and this one, very scientifically-oriented neuroscience podcast. I haven't listened to music in ages—does anyone have good albums to recommend? (Anyone.....n....e.??....?)
Tell me: if most of my photographs are taken on my iPhone or DSLR and not some discontinued, barely-functioning film SLR purchased at an estate sale, then how compromised is my art ho status?
Not mine, found at MCAD.
Henna by my lovely friend, drunk at the time.
My brother's bedroom, which I've slept in this weekend since my bedroom is now (sadly) empty. Why do boys always have photos of birds in their bedrooms?

Minnehaha in the Summer
Some of you may recall I went to Minnehaha Falls with some friends this past winter. And by some, I mean two of you. I went again this week with some more friends (and some of the same friends). These were all taken with my iPhone, though I did bring along a disposable. Hopefully I'll get that developed soon!

Smokebomb
July 4th festivities with my boyfriend, my boyfriend's family, and their family friends. It was very Minnesotan, very white, very delicious. We set off smokebombs and fireworks in their driveway, and then we gathered on their porch and sat in silence, watching the Round Lake fireworks cover the sky and reflect in the backyard pond.
